K-code, S-code, fastback, and convertible claims deserve extra documentation, underside inspection, and market sanity checks.
This checker uses common 1967 Mustang VIN structure references: model year, assembly plant, body serial code, engine code, and consecutive unit number. It intentionally avoids decoding every paint, trim, axle, DSO, date, and option field.
